What is Clenbuterol?
Fat is a major headache to all bodybuilders out there. With excess fat in your body, it is difficult for all the muscles lying underneath to be seen and we all know that with all the hard work we put in the gym it is only fair if we get to look at the results with our own eyes. Additionally, excess fat makes rather difficult to gain new muscles. You could end up hitting the gym for hours every day and months down the line you still cannot see any significant differences. Crazy enough, these aren’t the most significant issue about fat, and this is because we currently have lots of cutting supplements to deal with the issue. The problem is that a majority of these supplements do not take into account the effect that reducing the fat will have on muscle mass. Some of the supplements in the market are exceptional in fat burning, but unfortunately, they do not offer the muscles enough protection and hence by the time you are done using them you will realize that you have lost quite a lot of muscles. This is a nightmare to all bodybuilders.
Fortunately for us, we have products such as Clenbuterol that is formulated to deliver the intended fat loss results without interfering with muscle mass. Clenbuterol is a popular fat burning supplement used by Hollywood stars and lots of bodybuilders. This compound is grouped as a beta-2-agonist and not as a steroid as most people think. Unfortunately, it not being a steroid doesn’t mean that it is safe. Clen is an illegal drug classed with other banned stimulants like ephedrine. This is because even though the drug can lead to massive weight loss (without too much input from the user), the risks associated with it are too high. That’s why the drug is banned in the US not just for bodybuilding purposes but also for medicinal use. It, however, remains legal for the treatment of asthma in some EU countries.
The use of Clenbuterol goes all the way back to the 1900s. This compound was used in both humans and animals, but its severe side effects have always been a reason for serious concerns. In 1991, the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US realized that the compound was being used in livestock. This led to effects such as a massive decrease in fat which was replaced with lots of muscles. There were also cases of toxicity on some livestock, and this was linked to the use of these drugs. This led to the banning of the supplement in the US and a few other countries.
Clenbuterol was also used for medical purposes like in treating asthma and as a bronchodilator, i.e. widening the vessels responsible for oxygen transportation thus increasing the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream and tissues. It’s effectiveness and performance-enhancing capabilities made it quite popular, and it soon found its way into the bodybuilding industry. The risk factors of using it are, however, just too steep to be ignored and that’s why most countries don’t condone its use for both humans and livestock. The compound is also banned by professional sports bodies, and hence athletes need to stay away from it.

This supplement also works by increasing the amount of oxygen in your blood. It’s due to this capability that the compound has always been very reliable in treating asthma. However, when it comes to bodybuilding, the increase in oxygen in your bloodstream provides the perfect opportunity to increase your workout time. This is because as your muscle cells and all other tissues within your body get more oxygen, you will no longer be feeling tired too frequently. A few of the short-term side effects of using this drug include: nausea, insomnia, increased blood pressure, irregular heart rate, anxiety, headaches, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness, intense sweating, breathing difficulties, increased body temperature, and manic symptoms among others.
Some of the possible long-term side effects include muscle deformities, heart attack, and addiction.
The initial dosage of this drug should be around 20mcg per day. Clen is mighty and can lead to serious medical complications, and hence you should never increase the dosages until you have demonstrated satisfactory tolerance. Also, at no point should you ever take more than 120mcg of Clen. The risks are just too high at such doses.
